Plumas Corporation is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, whose mission is to promote the benefits of good land stewardship through education and restoration activities that result in healthy forests, resilient watersheds, and prosperous communities.

Plumas Corporation provides many services, including Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan preparation and implementation, stream/meadow/forest restoration design and construction, and watershed monitoring.

Since 1985, in partnership with the Feather River Cooordinated Resource management group, Plumas Corporation has provided leadership on more than 122 watershed restoration projects.

Plumas Corporation provides fiscal and contracting services to the Plumas County Fire Safe Council, whose mission is to reduce the loss of natural and human made resources caused by wildfire through Firewise community programs and pre-fire activities in Plumas County.

Sierra Nevada / Southern Cascade Landscape Strategy

In early 2019, the Plumas Corp Board of Directors, the Executive Director, and the Plumas County Fire Safe Coordinator developed a landscape strategy to begin to address forest and watershed health issues in the Sierra Nevada and Southern Cascade regions.
