Plumas Corporation is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, whose mission is to promote the benefits of good land stewardship through education and restoration activities that result in healthy forests, resilient watersheds, and prosperous communities.
Since 1985, in partnership with the Feather River Cooordinated Resource management group, Plumas Corporation has provided leadership on more than 122 watershed restoration projects.
Plumas Corporation provides fiscal and contracting services to the Plumas County Fire Safe Council, whose mission is to reduce the loss of natural and human made resources caused by wildfire through Firewise community programs and pre-fire activities in Plumas County.

Dixie Fire Impacts Plumas Corporation Staff
The Dixie Fire began on July 13th in the Feather River Canyon near PG&E's Cresta Powerhouse. Within two weeks the fire had burned over 200,000 acres, and has impacted over 60% of our staff. Due to this circumstance, please be patient if you are trying to reach us and we do not respond right away. The office remains open with at least one staff person present daily.
